Site Update! – Revised Comic Pages, Upcoming Events, New Stickers!

Posted on June 21, 2023 by Tait

Hey, everyone!

Life has been pretty crazy lately. That’s nothing new, but here’s what is:

Today I’ve started overhauling the Birds of a Feather pages here on the site, replacing the old versions of the comic with the new ones that will be in the upcoming book! Here’s the newest page to be uploaded:

Pacifica, Birds of a Feather, Page 10 - Rude Awakenings 1

If you need to catch up with the earlier pages you can head over to this page and read from the beginning! If you’d like to follow the Kickstarter campaign to be notified when you can grab a physical copy of the next book please follow this link.

In other news, I recently got these new stickers of my characters Gale and Diana! We met Diana in the first Pacifica book: Finding a Path. She’s a mysterious mountain woman who grew up with Gavin and may have special abilities. Gale and her brother Zephyr are introduced in the beginning of book two: Birds of a Feather. Gale is a jay folk monk who is skilled in aerial martial arts and is initially wary of Gavin.

New Pacifica Stickers of Gale and Diana!

These new stickers will be available to purchase at local events and during the book two Kickstarter. I do not have a final date set for the campaign yet as the book still needs work before it’s finished, but you’ll hear about it in the news letter and on social media.

Blown Away, Pacifica: Birds of a Feather, Page 9

Blown Away, Page 9 of Pacifica: Birds of a Feather

Blown away by Gale’s skill, the hellcat beats a hasty retreat. Will the jay folk be able to recover from the attack and revive Gavin before more danger appears?

Read ahead a few more pages at Tait’s Patreon or Ko-fi Gallery while supporting the creation of the comic! If you’re looking for physical merch, including books, prints, and stickers, check out the Store page. You can also donate to the Pacifica GoFundMe that is helping support the comic’s creation if you’re not interested in rewards.

As always, I thank you for reading and hope that you’re enjoying the story. See you in the next fantastic episode!

P.S. – Visit my Discover Comics site to be blown away by more webcomics and webtoons. It’s where I link to comics, tutorials, and more to help out both readers and creators so that the online comic creating community can become a better place for everyone.

Playing with Fire, Pacifica: Birds of a Feather, Page 8

Posted on January 19, 2022 by Tait

Playing with fire isn’t a good idea, but Gale doesn’t have much choice. The jayfolk warrior attempts a risky maneuver to defeat the hellcat. Will it pay off?

Pacifica: Birds, Page 8, Gale vs. Hellcat (Part 4) Fighting Fire with Wind

First posted page of 2022! As always, I’ll be working hard to make this the best year of Pacifica yet! I’ve built up a buffer so there should be new pages at least once a month going forward.

I also realized there was a problem on the arc’s page where the last few updates were missing for some reason. That’s been fixed now so you can read from the beginning up to the current update.

If you think my comic is fire and you’d like to read more the content on Patreon and Ko-fi is several pages ahead of the public site. For just $3 on either platform you can read ahead, see behind the scenes artwork, and get other bonuses. Be sure to check them out if you can’t wait for the next update.

Enjoy, everyone and thanks for reading!

Sincerely, Tait

Pacifica Page 20

Now Gavin's in trouble ...

Page 20 is up on Patreon for $2 patrons or higher. Gavin’s in some real trouble as the afore mentioned sal-kin show up. Will he be able to escape?

Just four more pages in chapter one! It’s been a long, slow road, but thank you to everyone who has stuck around for the ride!

Once I finish chapter one I’m going to start looking into bundling everything into a 24 page book that will be available digitally and hopefully in print at some point.
