Site Update! – Revised Comic Pages, Upcoming Events, New Stickers!

Posted on June 21, 2023 by Tait

Hey, everyone!

Life has been pretty crazy lately. That’s nothing new, but here’s what is:

Today I’ve started overhauling the Birds of a Feather pages here on the site, replacing the old versions of the comic with the new ones that will be in the upcoming book! Here’s the newest page to be uploaded:

Pacifica, Birds of a Feather, Page 10 - Rude Awakenings 1

If you need to catch up with the earlier pages you can head over to this page and read from the beginning! If you’d like to follow the Kickstarter campaign to be notified when you can grab a physical copy of the next book please follow this link.

In other news, I recently got these new stickers of my characters Gale and Diana! We met Diana in the first Pacifica book: Finding a Path. She’s a mysterious mountain woman who grew up with Gavin and may have special abilities. Gale and her brother Zephyr are introduced in the beginning of book two: Birds of a Feather. Gale is a jay folk monk who is skilled in aerial martial arts and is initially wary of Gavin.

These new stickers will be available to purchase at local events and during the book two Kickstarter. I do not have a final date set for the campaign yet as the book still needs work before it’s finished, but you’ll hear about it in the news letter and on social media.

March Pacifica Update

Posted on March 1, 2023 by Tait

Hello, everyone!

Welcome to the March update. I took a short holiday hiatus to catch up on some work and organize myself for the new year, but now I’m back! What’s in the cards for Pacifica in 2023?

Exclusive Content!

I’m going to be posting new content to Patreon and Ko-fi weekly, so if you want to get some exclusive content check out either of those sites. I’ve built up an archive of images, behind the scenes info, and lore about the world of Pacifica. I also share some of my photography that I use as reference for my art. Additionally, you’ll be able to interact with me on Patreon, Ko-fi, or Discord. I’ll give you the latest news about the comic and hang out to chat about interesting topics or answer your questions. Links below!

Join via Patreon! or Join via Ko-fi!

Get an invite to the Pacifica Discord sever when you subscribe from either Patreon or Ko-fi.

Book Two Kickstarter!

The next big thing for Pacifica will be the Kickstarter for the next book in the series: Birds of a Feather. I’ve had time to continue working on the book and improve it. There will be some awesome new rewards available including comics from other great creators! Look for the pre-launch page later this month. The new and improved book will be in your hands by June of this year.

Local Events!

If you’d like to catch me in person and get some signed merch you’ll be able to catch me at the Redwood Acres Flea Market most months. I’m also going to be attending other local events. Arts Alive Eureka, Friday Night Markets, and Fortuna Auto Expo are just a few of the events I’m planning to attend in 2023. Stay tuned to get information about those appearances. If you know of any events in Humboldt you’d like to see me at be sure to let me know.

If you don’t want to wait for Pacifica books check out our Store page.

Thank you once again for taking an interest in my work! I’ll see you in the next update.

Playing with Fire, Pacifica: Birds of a Feather, Page 8

Posted on January 19, 2022 by Tait

Playing with fire isn’t a good idea, but Gale doesn’t have much choice. The jayfolk warrior attempts a risky maneuver to defeat the hellcat. Will it pay off?

Pacifica: Birds, Page 8, Gale vs. Hellcat (Part 4) Fighting Fire with Wind

First posted page of 2022! As always, I’ll be working hard to make this the best year of Pacifica yet! I’ve built up a buffer so there should be new pages at least once a month going forward.

I also realized there was a problem on the arc’s page where the last few updates were missing for some reason. That’s been fixed now so you can read from the beginning up to the current update.

If you think my comic is fire and you’d like to read more the content on Patreon and Ko-fi is several pages ahead of the public site. For just $3 on either platform you can read ahead, see behind the scenes artwork, and get other bonuses. Be sure to check them out if you can’t wait for the next update.

Enjoy, everyone and thanks for reading!

Sincerely, Tait
